Use the browse feature to find and open images! *****************************************************************
Browse Instructions:
Click the left and right arrow controls, or use the left and right arrow keys to move to the next or previous file in a folder. To jump to a specific file just click and drag the slider control.
An easy to use batch with a drag and drop interface. Add actions to a list in any order, including multiple saves and save locations. Suggestions for future batch "actions" are encouraged. As batch can effect many files, please use caution until you are confident it will run smoothly with your particular setup.
Note: When a batch has finished, you can build a list based on the error files (i.e. files that couldn't be processed). You can then save this list and open later to finish batch(e.g. you need to allocate more memory for ImageViewer).
Delete Duplicate Files
Removes all files from the current list that end with .<some extension> and have the same size data fork as another file in the current list.
File Prefs
An option to auto-save changes to keywords and comments. This allows you to move through the list without encountering the "Save As" dialog when all you want to do is change keywords/comments.
Set Transparency
Can now use a temporary "Eye Dropper" tool to select a transparent color for GIF saves.
Apply Color Table
Allows you to open a color table and apply it to the current image.
Save Color Table
Allows you to save the current color table.
List Open
Allows you to open a previously saved list(a document of file aliases for a given list).
List Save
Allows you to save the current list.
Order
Can set the list ordering to build, size, type, date or random. With the current single image views, this refers to left-to-right ordering of list display.
Convert Depth
Can now apply a Netscape palette(pre-defined 216 colors), optimizing the image for the colors in the palette(i.e. the new palette is reduced to only the colors it actually uses). Since the depth is automatically reduced to match the size of the color table when saving as GIF, you can use this option to reduce file size for web graphics.
Note: For best results, convert the image to 256 colors before applying the Netscape palette.
Color Table Window
There is now a floating window to display the current color table associated with the image.
